As a not-for-profit organization, we rely heavily on donations from individuals and businesses to keep our hunt alive.  These donations go towards the everyday care of our hounds and also towards the preservation of our open spaces.

The Smithtown Hunt Members are all initial cap members on Long Island and we support our local businesses.

The Smithtown Hunt maintains a pack of cross-bred hounds.  Each has its own strengths and character and our Professional Huntsman, Gina Arcate, takes this into consideration when selecting hounds for a meet.  There is nothing we enjoy more than showcasing our hounds.
