What is a Hunter Pace?
A hunter pace is a fun, lightly competitive ride inspired by traditional foxhunting. Teams of 2–3 riders follow a marked course across fields, wooded trails, natural obstacles, and optional jumps, aiming to match the “optimal time” set by the Hunt. It’s a great way to enjoy the countryside, challenge your skills, and ride with friends.
Divisions include:
Hunt Division — A faster pace, mostly trot and canter with some walking.
Pleasure Division — A moderate pace, mostly trot and walk with some cantering.
Junior Division — Teams with at least one rider aged 18 or under.
